Acolytes serve during the primary Sunday morning service and help lead the community in worship. Children as young as 8 years of age are invited to serve as members of Trinity's altar party. They start out as incense boat carriers and move on to more advanced positions such as torchbearer as they gain experience. This is a great way for young people take on leadership roles in the church and become more familiar with the Episcopal liturgical tradition.
