"Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs."
Jesus Christ (Sacred Scripture)
Children are an important part of the Trinity community and are welcomed as full members of the Body of Christ. We are committed to providing quality religious formation for our children as well as providing opportunities for parents and care-givers to enjoy fellowship, build friendship, and receive the resources they need to raise their children in the love and knowledge of the Lord.
Children's Sunday School (Virtual)
When we aren't experiencing a pandemic, children are invited to experience Godly Play every Sunday morning at 10:30 AM (during our principle service). Godly Play is a Montessori based curriculum that encourages children to interact with the stories of the bible creatively and imaginatively. Trinity believes that Children have an innate sense of the presence of God. The Godly Play approach helps them to explore their faith through story, to gain religious language and to enhance their spiritual experience though wonder and play. Based on Montessori principles and developed using a spiral curriculum, the Godly Play method serves children through early, middle and late childhood and beyond.
Trinity has suspended most in-person meetings, including Godly Play, but Trinity is offering at-home Sunday school resources for all interested parishioners. Parents who register their children for Sunday school will receive electronic resources that can be printed out and used for their children's religious education as well as online tools and resources.

Trinity Parents and Caregivers
Trinity parents get together for book groups, fellowship, and fun. During this time of social distancing, parents check-in with each other via zoom as well as schedule safe get-togethers at local parks.

Trinity Back to School Camp
Each summer, Trinity organizes and hosts a back-to-school camp for grade school children in the parish and the surrounding neighborhoods.
Toward the end of a long summer break, campers receive a refresher courses on science, reading, art, drama, music, and more. And of course, everyone has a whole lot of fun in the process. At the end of the week, campers and parents enjoy a festive lunch, and all campers go home with a back-pack full of school supplies.
Campers and their families are not charged for the week of camp, thanks to the generosity of donors who give of their time and money to make this important ministry possible.
Unfortunately, COVID-19 made it unsafe to hold camp this year, but Trinity did distribute back -packs and school supplies. We look forward to next year, when it will hopefully be safe to gather for camp again.
